Christmas is upon us once again. It always seems to come quickly, and with it often comes a wide range of emotions.

For some, Christmas is full of wonder—bringing awe and amazement at what God has done for us. It’s easy to get caught up in the lights, the snowfall, the comfort of family, and the joy the season brings.

For others, it is a season marked by grief. Loved ones are no longer with us, and their absence feels especially present this time of year. Traditions change, and the Christmas blues are real.

Yet in all of these moments—in every emotion we feel—we have an invitation to meet with the Lord. God has always been present with His people, and His promise of presence remains true today. This Christmas season, we are invited to encounter God in a very real and personal way.

God is not limited in how or when we experience Him. It isn’t just on Sundays; each day brings opportunities to meet with the One True, Living God. During this time, I want to personally encourage you to press into the Lord. I firmly believe He will meet you in your joy and wonder, and He is more than able to meet you in your grief as well.

My prayer is that we would encounter God not only on Sundays, but each and every day of our lives.
