Pastor Joel was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan and at the age of 12, accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He has served in the church in Children and Youth ministry before sensing the Lord calling him to full-time ministry. Upon receiving that call, Joel began to seek ordination through Oklahoma Wesleyan University.  During his time in Pennsylvania, Joel met his wife, Andrea, and they were married in 2020. 

 

Pastor Joel accepted the call to be Lead Pastor at GracePointe in August of 2022. Joel loves to show others what it means to be loved by Jesus, how we are to love others like Jesus does, and how the hope of Jesus changes lives. 

 

Joel and Andrea are proud parents of Oliver. They have a mini labradoodle named Maizey. You can catch the family watching U of M football every Saturday in the fall.
